Teaching Methods
Students with any form of ASD will have very unique education plans catered to their individual needs. Many students with autism may need a highly supportive educational team including his or her teachers, case managers, and parents. Some high-functioning students with this disability can be placed into inclusion classes where they can learn with other students and be assisted by a special educator if necessary. Students on the other end of the spectrum may receive more assistance through contained classes with other students with ASD or similar disabilities.
